WHY WON’T IT PULSATE?
Solutions:
- Adjust the black ring (on/off ring) at the base of the motor until it starts to pulsate.
- Make sure the water is on and the flow is directed to the hydropik unit.
- Disconnect the hydropik from the sink adaptor or shower diverter (quick ¼ turn) then blow in the opening of the motor, this should loosen the ball inside the motor that creates the pulsating action. Reattach with a quick ¼ turn of the unit.
MY HYDROPIK IS LEAKING
The discharge of water from the bottom of the unit is normal. View it as exhaust from the hydropik motor.
THE HOSE POPS OFF WHEN I TURN IT ON
The water pressure may be too high. Turn down the pressure of the shower/sink. If this does not solve the problem, using a knife/razor blade/or scissors) trim off a small (1/4 inch) amount of the hose. Reattach it to the unit by twisting the hose onto the motor unit. This should solve this problem.
HOW CAN I CLEAN MY HYDRO-PIK?
Because of the amounts of sediments in the water supplies throughout the country, a buildup of this sediment in the unit may occur. Should this occur place the motor in a warm water and vinegar soak overnight. Rinse thoroughly before the next use.
